About the film

The film "Ben David" tells the story of the complex relationship between a religious Israeli Secret Service officer, and his teenage seteller informant.

The film present the difficulties in recruiting ISA source from the 'Hills Youth', while presenting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a new angle, as an internal conflict within the religious zionism segment of the West Bank.

Director bio:
 

Evyatar Rosenberg grew up in a religious settlement in Gush Etzion and studied in yeshiva high school in Kiryat Arba during the bloody years of the second intifada. After high-school he served in the IDF Intelligence Corps as an analyst and a commander in the field of war on terror. The film 'Ben David' describes his alternative biography; What would have happened if he had continued after army in a career in Shin Bet, was embedded in the Jewish Department and sent to stop activity of price tag of young jewish settlers, who are close to the place and the ideology in which he grew up.
